Weather Decision For Montgomery Co. Public Schools: Feb. 1, 2019

BREAKING: School schedule changes in Montgomery County on Friday, Feb. 1.

BETHESDA, MD — Due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, public schools in Montgomery County will close two-and-a-half hours early on Friday, Feb. 1.

The school system said in a Friday morning announcement: "Schools will dismiss students two and one-half hours earlier than the regular closing time. Students in morning pre-kindergarten programs and morning half-day Head Start will be dismissed at 10:50 a.m. Afternoon pre-kindergarten and other early childhood programs are canceled. All school and community activities in school buildings also are canceled. Administrative offices will remain open. Childcare programs in school buildings may remain open as scheduled."
