Weather Decision For Montgomery Co. Public Schools: Jan. 29, 2019

BETHESDA, MD — Public schools in Montgomery County will close early on Tuesday, Jan. 29.

The school system said in a Tuesday morning announcement: "Based on the most updated weather forecast, Montgomery County Public Schools will close early today, Tuesday, January 29, 2019, in anticipation of emergency weather conditions. Administrative offices will remain open as scheduled. Schools will dismiss students two and one-half hours earlier than the regular closing time. Students in morning pre-kindergarten programs and morning half-day Head Start will be dismissed at 10:50 a.m. Afternoon pre-kindergarten and other early childhood programs are canceled. All school and community activities in school buildings also are canceled. Childcare programs in school buildings may remain open as scheduled."
