Weekend Metro Schedule: Blue Line Shut Down, Work On Other Lines
Here's what to expect if you're taking the Metro this weekend.

BETHESDA, MD — Taking the Metro this weekend? Here's everything you need to know before heading out the door.
Red Line trains will operate every 12 to 15 minutes in two segments:
- Shady Grove to Friendship Heights
- Dupont Circle to Glenmont
The Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan, Cleveland Park, Van Ness-UDC, and Tenleytown-AU stations will be closed. Free shuttle buses will be provided.

There will be no Blue Line service due to the Platform Improvement Project:
- Franconia-Springfield and Van Dorn Street stations will be served by Yellow Line trains operating between Franconia-Springfield and Braddock Road
- Customers traveling between Virginia and downtown D.C. can transfer at King Street-Old Town or Braddock Road
- Arlington Cemetery station will be closed
- Free shuttles will be provided between Rosslyn, Arlington Cemetery, and Pentagon

Orange Line trains will operate every 15 to 20 minutes until 8 p.m. After that on Sunday:

- Trains will run every 30 minutes
- Trains will single-track between Foggy Bottom-GWU and Clarendon
Silver Line trains will operate every 15 to 20 minutes until 8 p.m. Due to the Platform Improvement Project:
- Addison Road station will be closed
- Free shuttle buses will be provided between Capitol Heights and Addison Road

After 8 p.m. on Sunday:
- Trains will run every 30 minutes
- Trains will single-track between Foggy Bottom-GWU and Clarendon
Yellow Line trains will operate every 15 to 20 minutes in two segments:
- Huntington to Greenbelt
- Franconia-Springfield to Braddock Road
Trains will also single-track between Pentagon City and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport
On the Green Line, trains will run every 15 to 20 minutes.
