BETHESDA, MD — Taking the Metro this weekend? Here's everything you need to know before heading out the door.

Red Line trains will operate every 18 minutes, but single-track between Van Ness-UDC and Friendship Heights.

There will be no Blue Line service due to the Platform Improvement Project:

  • Franconia-Springfield and Van Dorn Street stations will be served by Yellow Line trains operating between Franconia-Springfield and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport
  • Customers traveling between Virginia and downtown D.C. can transfer at King Street-Old Town or Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport
  • Arlington Cemetery station will be closed
    • Free shuttles will be provided between Rosslyn, Arlington Cemetery, and Pentagon

Orange, Green, and Silver Line trains will run every 15 to 20 minutes. On the Silver Line, however, Addison Road station will be closed.

Yellow Line trains will operate every 20 minutes in two segments:

  • Huntington to Greenbelt
  • Franconia-Springfield to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport

Trains will also single-track between Pentagon City and L'Enfant Plaza.
