What's Open, Closed In Bethesda, Montgomery County On July 4, 2017

From Montgomery County: Most Montgomery County government offices will be closed for Independence Day, Tuesday, July 4, although county liquor stores will be open. Mass transit schedules will be affected, so check the links below.

Holiday Schedule for Independence Day, July 4

• County Offices – closed
• Libraries – closed
• County Liquor stores – all stores will be open 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Recreation – Indoor and outdoor pools open, Germantown Indoor Pool closes at 3 p.m. all other pools close at 6 p.m.; Administrative offices, senior centers and recreation centers will be closed.

• TRiPS Commuter Stores (Silver Spring and Friendship Heights) – closed

• Parking at public garages, lots, curbside meters – free
• MCPS Schools and Administrative Offices – closed

Rockville Closings, Changes

In Rockville, City Hall and most city facilities will be closed Tuesday. Recycling, yard waste and refuse will not be collected on July 4. Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers; the Rockville Senior Center; Croydon Creek Nature Center; Glenview Mansion, including the mansion’s art gallery; and F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and its box office will be closed. Theater tickets are always available at www.rockvillemd.gov/theatre.

The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center will close at 6 p.m. Find summer hours for individual swim center facilities at www.rockvillemd.gov/swimcenter.
