Which Storm? Rain or Snow Likely Next Week

Get ready for a nice weekend in the 60s, but next week will likely include a storm. What kind of storm is still debatable.

The storm threat isn’t just a fight between rain or snow. The Weather Channel notes parts of the East and South will see snow, ice, rain, wind, and some severe thunderstorms.

The Capital Weather Gang notes the system should pass through our area Tuesday or Wednesday.

“This is one of those cases where we need a thread-the-needle-type perfect storm track and a little luck for us to get any significant snow,” they write.

According to the National Weather Service, cold air will likely arrive with the storm, instead of ahead of the storm. That increases the uncertainty about the amount of rain and snow associated with it.
