WTOP Moves Headquarters From DC To Chevy Chase

News station WTOP is moving their headquarters to Chevy Chase this winter, according to a report.

CHEVY CHASE, MD — The news station WTOP is moving their headquarters out of DC and into Chevy Chase this winter, according to a report.

General Manager Joel Oxley told Bethesda Magazine that the company has grown "tremendously" over the years and needs a bigger space.

The company plans to move in December or January.

“Whether it is in digital, federal or broadcasting, our moving to a bigger space, with completely new state-of-the-art technology, will only help us grow more,” Oxley said.

WTOP, owned by Hubbard Broadcasting, will relocate to 5425 Wisconsin Ave.
