A massive fulfillment center slated for Prince George's County reportedly could span 4 million square feet.
WESTPHALIA, MD — A fulfillment center planned for the Westphalia community in Prince George's County just got 1 million square feet larger, according to a report.
The Washington Business Journal reports that a new site plan submitted to the Prince George's County Planning Board for a merchandise logistics center at Westphalia Town Center now calls for a 4-million-square-foot facility, a 33 percent increase in size from what was submitted earlier this year.
The building would have a 818,423-square-foot footprint and five stories on a 79-acre site, along with 1,794 vehicle parking spaces, 267 loading spaces, and ground-floor office space, according to the report.
