New 55+ Community Expands, Opens New Apartments For Rent

GLENARDEN, MD — A new 55+ community on June 3 opened apartments for lease in Glenarden. This is the second of six phases of the master-planned development, called Residences at Glenarden Hills II.

Residents can rent a unit for $1,299 to $1,617. The one- and two-bedroom apartments feature:

• Open floor plans with oversized windows
• Modern, fully-equipped kitchens with dishwashers
• Large closets
• Ceramic-tiled baths
• Central heating and air
• A patio or porch in every unit

The complex additionally touts wellness, theater and laundry rooms. Tennants will also have access to the amenities in phase one of the project, including a 5,700-square-foot clubhouse with a:

The site will eventually span 27 acres and also offer townhomes for rent or purchase.

Real estate developer Pennrose will host open houses on Saturday, June 19 and Saturday, June 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Anybody who moves in by Friday, June 25 will get one month of free rent.
