FREE Tai Chi Class: "Taming the Monkey Mind"

Reduce Stress, Gain Focus. A special workshop on Thursday, February 25.

“Taming the Monkey Mind”

With the start of the Chinese New Year of the Monkey, it seems appropriate to talk about the monkey mind. The monkey is creative, active, curious, and easily distracted. The monkey mind is that part of our brain that is always racing a mile a minute and jumping from one topic to another.

Calming the monkey mind will help reduce stress, anxiety and lack of focus. The best way to calm the monkey is not to try and lock it away in a cage, but give it something constructive to do to keep it occupied. This workshop will cover using breathwork, still meditation, and moving meditation to help you calm your monkey mind.

Held on Thursday, February 25, 7:00-9:30pm at Jing Ying Institute in Arnold. Register at www.JingYing.org/Chinese_New_Year.htm
