City Council Meeting Preview
A summary of the major agenda items for Tuesday's meeting.

The College Park City council will convene for it's twice-monthly  meeting Tuesday at 8 p.m. Meetings and work sessions are held in the Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, located at 4500 Knox Rd.
Presentation of  Certificates to the Winners of College Park Day "This is My Culture" Poster Contest
The city council will be presenting certificates to the winners of the "This is My Culture" poster contest, which was held on College Park Day in October. Kids from all of the area's elementary schools were invited to enter, and on Tuesday, the winners will have the opportunity to show off their posters in front of the city council as they collect their awards.Â

Introduction of the Ordinance Prohibiting Furniture on a Roof
The city council will vote on an ordinance that, like the title says, will prohibit residents from putting furniture on the roofs of their homes, unless they have an established roof deck or porch. Anyone who violates the ordinance will be fined $200 for the first offense, and $400 thereafter.Â
