College Park ATM Thieves Caught On Camera: Police

The thieves used a pickup truck to smash into a College Park 7-Eleven early Wednesday and steal an ATM, say Prince George's police.

COLLEGE PARK, MD — The Prince George's County police are looking for a group of people who used a pickup truck early Wednesday to smash into a College Park convenience store and steal an ATM. The police released surveillance photos of the robbery, which took place at about 4 a.m. Wednesday at a 7-Eleven in the 4900 block of Edgewood Road.

The police said that five individuals in a white pickup truck backed up and crashed through the front of the 7-Eleven, knocking an ATM inside the store off of its base. They loaded the ATM into the truck and fled.

Several employees were inside the store at the time of the robbery, but no one was injured, the police said.
