Editor's Notebook: New Feature Coming to College Park Patch

Good afternoon, readers!

Starting Tuesday of next week, we here at College Park Patch will be testing out a new feature called "About Town." We already know (or at least, we hope) that you come to Patch to find out about the issues that matter. The purpose of "About Town" will be to give voice to the entertaining stuff that happens around College Park — things that might not exactly qualify as news and certainly couldn't be described as "hard hitting." I think the word I'm groping for here is "fun."

Our goal is to put up a couple posts of this nature every day. Remember, it's a bit of an experiment, so bear with us while we smooth out the kinks. Oh, and also, we're looking for people to write it. If you (or someone you know, or maybe someone you saw walking down the street one time) are smart, savvy and generally well connected to College Park, send 'em my way.
