Man Mugged Near Rhode Island Avenue

A mugging occurred Saturday evening near Rhode Island Avenue and Paducah Road.

According to police, the victim, a College Park resident, was walking home around 10:30 p.m., when three suspects approached him from behind. The victim was struck in the face with an unknown object, at which point the suspects robbed the victim of his cell phone and wallet, and fled toward Baltimore Avenue.

The suspects are described as three black males between 16 and 18-years-old, wearing masks with dark clothing.
