Description: Through no fault of his own, Ziggy was recently returned to the shelter after the family who adopted him realized they didn't have the time to devote to a pet. He's calmed down since he first arrived back, said Animal Control Officer Vivian Cooper,  but would generally prefer to live in a home with minimal numbers of other cats.

Ideal Environment: Ziggy will tolerate other animals, but will ideally be adopted by someone with one or two other cats, at most. He's good with people, however, and will be happy with a family of any size.

Bottom Line: Ziggy is still a bit high-strung after being returned to the shelter, but is making progress. He is okay with other animals, but great with people.

Interested in adopting Ziggy? Contact Vivian Cooper at 240-487-3570, or email her at vcooper@collegeparkmd.gov.

Note: All animals at the College Park Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, and up to date on their vaccines.
