Two Suspects Enter Unlocked Apartment, Residents Asleep Inside
Nothing was taken, but police urge residents to be vigilant about locking their doors
Two suspects entered an unlocked Rhode Island Avenue apartment on Saturday around 11:30 p.m., while several of the occupants were sleeping inside.
According to police, one suspect stood on lookout at the door, while the other seemed to be searching for electronics inside the apartment. The occupants awoke, startling the suspects, who fled the scene without taking anything.
One of the suspects is described as a black male, approximately 25-years-old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and 185 pounds. He was wearing a black nylon skull cap, a dark shirt and blue jeans. There is no description available for the second suspect.

An investigation is underway, and police currently have no information on whether the suspects were related to any of the other incidents that have recently occurred in College Park.
