4 Sought For Merriweather District Artist-in-Residence Program

COLUMBIA, MD — Four artists from around the world will be chosen to participate in the Merriweather District Artist-in-Residence program where they'll receive a $10,000 stipend, studio space and housing for the duration of the residency. Applications are open now through March 8 at 11:59 p.m. The new residency will begin July 5 and end Aug. 31.

Three artists are being sought for contemporary art and technology, meaning they will produce work that integrates art, innovation and technology. A fourth artist will explore music creation, production and performance in the art studio.
