AAUW Holds First Annual Women of Achievement Tea
AAUW Howard County Branch holds its first annual Women of Achievement Tea honoring 2 women's work in the Howard County Community

The American Association of University of Women (AAUW) Howard County Branch held its first Women of Achievement Tea Sunday, October 27 at the Meeting House where they honored Sue Song, President of the Korean-American Senior Association of Howard County (left) and Nikki Highsmith Vernick, President and CEO of Horizon Foundation (right) for their contributions to the health and well-being of the Howard County Community. Beth Hayden, President AAUW Howard County Branch (center) made the presentation. The event raised scholarship funds for deserving women attending Howard Community College to complete their degrees and provide an opportunity for attending the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders held annually at the University of Maryland, College Park.
