Columbia Man Killed When Motorcycle Crashes Into Garage: Police

COLUMBIA, MD — Howard County police are investigating a fatal motorcycle collision that occurred Saturday afternoon in Columbia. At approximately 12:30 p.m., a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle was being driven in the 12000 block of White Cord Way when it left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck the garage of a residence.

The motorcycle's driver, 46-year-old Liam Andrew St. John of Columbia, was transported to Howard County General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
