Goo Goo Dolls And Train Co-Headline Merriweather Show
The Goo Goo Dolls and Train will perform live at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia as part of their summer amphitheater tour.

COLUMBIA, MD — The Goo Goo Dolls and Train will entertain concertgoers at the Merriweather Post Pavilion. Since June the bands have been touring amphitheaters across the country, and their show in Columbia is set for Friday, Aug. 9.
Tickets are on sale now for this summer concert, which features the Goo Goo Dolls, Train and R&B artist Allen Stone.
Nominated for numerous Grammy awards and winner of the Radio Music Awards Artist of the Year in 2000, the Goo Goo Dolls will bring back memories for fans by performing old favorites before the arrival of their new album later this year.

The Goo Goo Dolls are Johnny Rzeznik and Robby Takac, who have been impressing fans since they banded together in 1986 in Buffalo, New York. Renowned for their '90s hits “Naked” and “Broadway," the band just announced the release of its 12th album “Miracle Pill," which will be released Sept. 13.

"Live music right now is just so incredibly important to help unite people in the country," Rzeznik said. The concert at Merriweather promises to keep the audience spellbound from start to finish as the Goo Goo Dolls perform fan favorites such as "Iris," "Slide" and "Broadway," while adding a song or two from the band's upcoming studio album.
Joining the lineup is American rock band Train, who for over 20 years have been creating sounds that cover everything from pop to country to alternative rock. Concertgoers can expect to see Train perform some of their greatest hits including “Soul Sister” and “Running on Empty,” a Jackson Browne cover.
Also on stage will be R&B singer and musician Allen Stone, whose vocals and guitar are all about the sound of soul.
