Hypnosis Columbia Celebrates New Location

Hypnosis Columbia is owned and operated by Certified Consulting Hypnotist (CCH) Racquel A. Knight.

Ms. Knight earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College in Albany, New York, in 2001, and her certification as a consulting hypnotist from the National Guild of Hypnotists in November 2013. Ms. Knight is certified in the Sheila Granger Virtual Gastric Band protocol, and is the only Sheila Granger Virtual Gastric Band practitioner in Columbia.

After 27 years with the U.S. Federal Government, including 20 years active duty Air Force, Ms. Knight opened Hypnosis Columbia LLC in October 2013. Ms. Knight operated Hypnosis Columbia out of Holistic Maryland (Shaker Drive, Columbia) until August 2014 before deciding to open her own office in the Lakefront 17 Building at 5570 Sterrett Place, Suite 310, Columbia, MD.

Ms. Knight has helped clients to lose weight, quit smoking; eradicate fears; reduce stress, anxiety, physical and emotional pain; improve sleep, focus and concentration; achieve peak performance in work, academic and personal lives; to eliminate sugar, carbohydrate, and alcohol cravings; and, to improve self-esteem and confidence.

“I am honored and excited to work in beautiful, downtown Columbia and to be one of the few consulting hypnotists in the area offering hypnosis services for wellness, self-improvement, and positive change work,” said Knight.

The Ribbon Cutting celebration will be held from 3:00-5:00pm, with the actual Ribbon Cutting taking place at 4:00pm. There will be refreshments and drawings for free hypnosis sessions.
