Information Sought About Shooting In Columbia: Police

The victim was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center for medical attention.

COLUMBIA, MD — Howard County police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that happened Monday night in Columbia. At approximately 9 p.m., police were called to the 6500 block of Woven Moonbeam for a report of shots fired.

After a canvass of the area, officers located a man near the East Columbia Library who had been shot. He was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center for medical attention. Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call 911.
