The following areas are offered as cooling centers to the more than 20,000 residents in Howard County who are on now on their third day without power.

Water Buffalo

• The Water Buffalo will be at the Gary J. Arthur Community Center in Cooksville (2400 Route 97) Monday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Residents in need of water should bring their own clean containers to fill. 

Ice Distribution

• Martin’s is only giving free ice to people who receive power through Potomac Edison…customers must bring a copy of a bill as proof of service provider
