New Trampoline Park to Open in Columbia

Former New England Patriots players are opening a trampoline complex in Columbia this year.

COLUMBIA, MD – Two retired NFL players are teaming up to open a trampoline park in Columbia.

Ty Law and Deion Branch will co-own Launch Trampoline Park at 9315 Snowden River Parkway, slated for an early 2016 opening.

The 28,000 square-foot space will include areas for open jump, X-treme dodgeball, bounce-basketball courts, tumble tracks, foam pits and a dedicated “kids court” for jumpers under 42 inches.

Approximately 14,000 square feet of the building will be dedicated to trampolines, according to a news release about Launch Trampoline Park.

“As professional athletes, we are passionate about fitness,” Law said. “Launch allows us to bring a new twist to family fun. Our history as teammates and friends made it a smart business decision for us.”

The Columbia location is one of two that the professional athletes are opening in Maryland; the other is in Rockville.

“I am so excited to bring family fun and fitness to Columbia and Rockville,” Branch said. “Like Ty, I wanted to invest in something meaningful after my career in the NFL.”

Law retired after 15 seasons playing as a cornerback for a variety of teams including the Denver Broncos, New York Jets, New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs; his last season was in 2009.

Branch played 12 seasons, with his career as a wide receiver wrapping up after the 2012 season. He played for the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks.

The former Patriots teammates will co-own the new trampoline parks with already successful Launch franchisees Stephanie Eldridge and William Garrett.

Both the Columbia and Rockville locations are scheduled to open in early 2016.
