Photos from the 2019 Veterans Day Parade In Howard County on November 10, 2019

Did you miss the Veterans Day Parade in Howard County in 2019? Worry not…I took enough photos to make it feel like you saw the entire parade. Here is the photo set on Facebook:

I was happy to see more of our elected officials at the event this year…here is a listing of the elected officials I saw at the event:

  • Howard County Executive Calvin Ball
  • Howard County Council Members: Liz Walsh, Christiana Rigby, Deb Jung and David Yungmann
  • Maryland State Senator Clarence Lam
  • Maryland State Delegate Jessica Feldmark
  • Howard County Board of Education member Vicky Cutroneo
  • Judge of the Orphans’ Court in Howard County Elizabeth Fitch

Article update (after scrolling through some photos online it appears as if U.S. Congressman John Sarbanes (District 3) and Maryland State Senator Guy Guzzone (District 13) were at the event as well…they both must have arrived after I left.

Those are the ones I saw…there may have been others (if so, let me know in the comments). I was happy to see significantly more elected members at the event this year supporting veterans than what I saw a year ago. Still a bit bummed at the number of locally elected members that I did not see at the event…but I also know some people take vacations over this long weekend.

I want to give a big THANK YOU to Delma Branch for taking the one photo of me at the event (that I have seen online):

Today is Veterans Day and I want to personally thank all veterans that have served this country.
