Sweet! Columbia Getting Renata's Tasty Bites

If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll want to save room for dessert this weekend in Columbia.

Renata’s Tasty Bites will open off Snowden River Parkway on Saturday, Aug. 1.

The bakery is located in Snowden River Center, which also contains Snowden River Liquors and House of India, among other businesses.

Renata’s plans to have a soft opening Saturday, with a grand opening in the coming weeks.

The shop will sell European-style cookies, pastries and cakes “made with a special ingredient...a baker’s love,” according to flyers the bakery has been distributing in advance of its opening.

Renata’s may sound familiar—while this is its first storefront, Renata’s Tasty Bites has had presence at the East Columbia farmer’s market and Howard County farmer’s market plus a kiosk at Savage Mill.

Renata’s Tasty Bites in Columbia is located at 9350-G Snowden River Parkway. Hours will be 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday; 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday; 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday to Friday; and the bakery will be closed on Monday.
