Teen Faces Attempted Murder Charge In Relative's Shooting: Police
The Howard County Police Department has arrested a 15-year-old Columbia resident who has been charged as an adult in the shooting.
COLUMBIA, MD — A 15-year-old has been arrested in the shooting of his 15-year-old relative March 6. Howard County police officers found the victim along the pathway near the 9400 block of Brett Lane shortly after 3 p.m. The 15-year-old victim was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in critical condition. He currently is listed in stable condition.
Officers learned that the suspect, 15-year-old Naquan Khami Davis, had been engaged in a dispute with his relative and he and the victim had agreed beforehand to meet to discuss their disagreement. Davis has been charged as an adult with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and related firearms charges.
