Ben & Jerry’s is offering free ice cream cones.

According to the Ben & Jerry’s website “Free Cone Day” is something the company has been doing since 1979, the first year of business.

Although there are no Ben & Jerry’s ice cream shops in Columbia, there are four participating locations in Maryland, including 199-F East Montgomery Ave., Rockville.
