Wegmans Announces Products on Summer Price Freeze List

Prices on more than 65 products sold at Wegmans stores will be frozen through Aug. 24, the company announced this month.

Company officials said in a press release the list of products with prices frozen, meaning that even if the costs of the products increase, their prices remain the same in the store, are mostly Wegmans brand products, “because the company can be more aggressive with pricing its own brand.”

Wegmans is an 81-store supermarket chain. Its Columbia store is located at 8855 McGaw Road.

Selections in meat, seafood, produce, including organic, grocery, dairy, bakery, frozen foods, and deli are included in the items with frozen prices, according to Wegmans.
