This might just be the best time to sell! Let’s see why...

October slowed down, we saw a 4.7% drop in pending sales from September and a 7.5% drop in closed sales from September in Howard County. November numbers are not out yet, but don’t be surprised by an increase in sales!

With my 20+ years of experience in Real Estate, I can tell you that this is a great time to put your house on the market! Some key indicators are coming together all at the same time. Things like interest rates are currently still attractively low, plus most likely, you will not have the tire kickers out this time of year, so only the serious buyers are looking at your home. Shear volume of listings is currently at a loll, so your competition will be at a low! Many people who haven’t sold by Thanksgiving will pull their house off the market and wait til spring to put it back on. You have less competition than you would in the spring! You also have more daytime showings since it gets darker earlier, so you don’t have to rush out of your house at dinner time for a last minute showing! Many agents may slow during the holiday season and reduce marketing efforts- not me.
