‘Zaching’ at the Howard County Police Department

Cops join the craze supporting Zach Lederer, Del. Bobo's grandson, who is battling cancer.

The following was posted today on the Howard County Police Department's Facebook page:

"HCPD’s Command Staff took a moment in their meeting yesterday to show solidarity with Zach Lederer, a local teen who is battling cancer for the second time in his life and a close friend of one of the commanders' children. Recently, after undergoing a second brain surgery, Lederer flexed his muscles in a photo to show his strength against cancer. HCPD wishes Lederer the best of health as he continues to fight this disease. Learn more about “Zaching” online at http://zaching.tumblr.com/.

Lederer, of Ellicott City, is a former football player at Centennial High and is Maryland Del. Liz Bobo’s grandson.
