2 Fans Per AACPS Student-Athlete Can Attend Spring Games

Just like for the fall sports season, Anne Arundel County Public Schools athletes will be given two tickets per event for spectators.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Student-athletes with Anne Arundel County Public Schools can invite up to two spectators to their games for the spring athletic season, which begins Friday. Fans attending spring season events starting May 7 must abide by the following COVID-19 protocol:

  • Wear a mask at all times, a condition that is part of the latest executive order issued by Gov. Larry Hogan for ticketed venues.
  • Maintain a physical distance of at least 6 feet (family members may be closer).
  • Use hand sanitizer available at all entrance and exit points.

Admission will be free. Spectators cannot hang around outside venue gates and must remain in their cars until the gates/doors open.

“These protocols served us well in our fall athletics season and I appreciate the cooperation of our student-athletes and their families,”AACPSS Superintendent George Arlotto said. “We need to continue to do our due diligence as we safely hold these contests, which is always our top priority.”
