Armed Teen Charged In Crofton Robbery, Assault: Police
A Bowie teen has been charged as an adult in connection with a Crofton armed robbery, police say.

CROFTON, MD — A Bowie teen has been charged as an adult in connection with a Crofton armed robbery, Anne Arundel County Police say. A teen reported that he was robbed about 9 p.m. Jan. 25 in the 2300 block of Brandermill Boulevard in Crofton by a male with a gun who demanded his cell phone.
The victim turned over his phone and the suspect fled. The suspect was located a short time later in possession of a replica handgun. The suspect — Michael Hunter, 17, of the 12300 block of Tilbury Lane in Bowie — was a juvenile charged as an adult with several crimes.
Hunter was charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, armed robbery, reckless endangerment, use of a handgun in commission of a felony, resisting arrest and theft under $1,500.
