Arrests Made In Crofton Bank, 7-Eleven Robberies

CROFTON, MD — At least three Crofton robberies at a bank and a 7-Eleven store in less than 24 hours have been tied to two men who were arrested by Anne Arundel County Police. The accused robbers, from Davidsonville and the second with no permanent address, were arrested on Nov. 28 and are both being held without bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.

The three robberies that authorities say were committed by the pair are:

• On Nov. 14 at 9:45 p.m. when a woman in a drive-through ATM lane at the Bank of America, 2001 Davidsonville Road, was approached by a man with a handgun who demanded money. The robber became startled and fled without obtaining any money.
• On Nov. 14 at 10:10 p.m. the 7-Eleven store at 2129 Defense Highway was robbed by a man with a handgun. The robber fled in an unknown vehicle driven by a second suspect.
• On Nov. 15 at 11:06 p.m. that same 7-Eleven store was again held up by a man with a handgun.

Investigators say the two men who robbed the businesses are:

John Tyler Page, 19, of the 3700 block of Patuxent Manor Road in Davidsonville, who is charged with three counts of armed robbery, two counts of robbery, three counts of first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault, theft: $100 to under $1,500, and theft less than $100.

David Anthony Lee Harris, 19, of no fixed address, who is charged with three counts of armed robbery, two counts of robbery, three counts of first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault, theft: $100 to under $1,500, and theft less than $100.
