Community Shred Event Planned For Dec. 5 In Crofton

CROFTON, MD — If papers are piling up at home, be sure to mark your calendar for an upcoming shred event. The Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a community shred event Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the chamber office, 2115 Priest Bridge Dr.

The chamber also is seeking 10 sponsors for the twice annual community shred event. According to ProShred Security, documents such as medical records, credit card statements and bills should be properly disposed of by shredding. Documents to be shredded should not contain staples, paper clips or other similar items.
