County 9/11 Memorial Ceremony Includes Wreath-Laying
Anne Arundel leaders will place a wreath at the county's 9/11 Memorial on Tuesday.
From Anne Arundel County Executive: Anne Arundel County Executive Steve Schuh, along with Fire Chief Allan Graves and Police Major Katie Goodwin will commemorate the 17th Anniversary of the September 11th attacks with county citizens and members of the fire and police departments Tuesday morning. After a brief ceremony, including a moment of silence, County Executive Schuh and Chief Graves and Major Goodwin will place a wreath at the county’s September 11th Memorial.
The Anne Arundel County September 11th Memorial was dedicated on September 11, 2010. It provides a place of reflection to pay respect to the victims of the September 11thattacks. It is dedicated to all public safety personnel who responded that day and who continue to respond each day.
