Crofton Native Receives Post-Season College Baseball Honors

Washington College graduate Aaron Barclay of Crofton was named to the Mid-Atlantic American Baseball Coaches first team as a third baseman.

CROFTON, MD -- Washington College graduate Aaron Barclay of Crofton has been named to the Mid-Atlantic American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings All-Region Teams. He was named to the first team as a third baseman. He also was named to the All-Centennial Conference first team, hitting .349, the college stated.

Barclay was the only Shoreman to start all 40 games this season. He led the team in doubles (11), finished second on the team in RBI (38), hits (51) and home runs (five), finished third in runs (33), walks (18) and slugging (.527), and tied for third on the team in stolen bases (seven). Barclay also was named second team all-region by D3Baseball.com. Barclay graduated in the spring of 2019.
