Crofton Woman Shot By Husband: Police

CROFTON, MD — Anne Arundel County police detectives continue to investigate what appears to be an attempted murder-suicide that unfolded Nov. 16 at approximately 8:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of Carlyle Drive in Crofton. Officers responded to the report of a shooting and found a woman outside the home with a gunshot wound to her upper body, according to a police report.

The woman told officers that she had been shot by her husband. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Officers found the woman's husband dead inside the home from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to a police report.
