Drugs Worth $170K Seized In Raid Near Arundel High School
A Gambrills man had 27 pounds of marijuana, and other drugs worth a total of $170,000, when police raided his house Tuesday.
GAMBRILLS, MD — About 27 pounds of marijuana, plus other drugs worth an estimate $170,000, were seized at a Gambrills house near Arundel High School, authorities say. Kevin Paul Goetz, 31, of the 900 block of Annapolis Road in Gambrills, face multiple drug possession charges after a raid early Tuesday morning.
Police executed a search warrant at Goetz's home about 5:30 a.m. and seized 27 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $46,000, 5,994 grams of marijuana wax with an estimated street value of $100,000, 1,356 grams of marijuana oil with an estimated street value of $28,000, 27.8 grams of psilocybin mushrooms with an estimated street value of $300, an undisclosed amount of cash, stickers resembling Maryland prescription cannabis prescription stickers, and a loaded 12-gauge shotgun.
Goetz is charged with:- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute
- Possession of psilocybin mushrooms
- Possession of psilocybin mushrooms with intent to distribute
- Possess ammunition while prohibited
- Possess firearm during drug trafficking crime
- Possess firearm/shotgun after being convicted of disqualifying crime
- Firearm use during a felony
- Possess shotgun after being convicted of a felony
- False label to container containing prescription drugs
- Possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school
