Happy Mother’s Day To Catherine Stinchcomb
"You're always there to celebrate the good times and are always the life of the party."

In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday May 13, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is Melissa Stinchcomb's letter to her mom:
Mom,
I wanted to tell you how very special you are to me. Throughout my life you have always been there for me. Through the bad times you always lift me up and and take my worries away. You never find fault but always look for the positive and bring peace and happiness. You’re always there to celebrate the good times and are always the life of the party.
I can honestly say I have never met anyone in my life who has had a bad thing to say about you. I only hear how kind, caring and fun loving you are. You have so many amazing traits, and I can only pray I am half the woman you are!
I didn’t realize when I was younger how important our relationship was. I took a lot for granted, but today I can say with pride that you are my everything. You are the sweetest, kindest, most compassionate, giving, dedicated, loving person to me, and I am so grateful that I got you as my mom.
You are my best friend, and you have been and will always be the wind beneath my wings! Happy Mother’s Day.
I love you,
Melissa
