Hospital Gift Shops Should Have Yelp Reviews

Hospital Gift Shops Are More Than Magazines Yelp Review Husband prospects Funny Blog Be Fabulous

So, today my eye doctor informed me that, once again, I need eye surgery and can't be done as an in office procedure. I asked him which hospital he worked out of , as he is a new doctor to me. When he answered me, I nearly jumped out of the chair with excitement, as I love this hospital's gift shop! Yes, you read that right, the gift shop!

"Why does this excite you Beth"? "Because, they have the best gift shop out of any hospital in the area, I answered." His look, gave the impression of, are you for real, I've heard everything now. Gift shop? was all he could manage to say. Yes, they have everything! Food, magazines, jewelry, and, if you manage to hit it at the right time, plenty of future doctor husbands prospects for my daughters. He couldn't help but laugh.

Are there bad gift shops, he asked. Yes! For example, the downtown one sells keychains that never have my name, they don't sell good snacks, and, apparently, doctors have their own gift shop because I never see any in this one. I should do Yelp reviews for hospital gift shops, I tell him.

Let's face it, hospital gift shops are are probably one of the few places in the hospital that everyone wants to be. I've even met friends at my local one for lunch with no scheduled appointments, that's how good the food is. It sparks joy, the volunteers always have a smile and there is usually something for everyone here. It's truly what the doctor ordered. However, the doctors in the downtown hospital should take their own advice and have a visit, (especially when I'm husband shopping for my daughters).

I've often thought some great additions to gift shops would be, videos of your surgeon's operating room bloopers, blunders and bleepers. A disc of my surgery that my visitors could purchase to save me the trouble of telling the same story over and over. And, of course, keychains with my name on it!
