The Memorial Day holiday is on Monday, May 25. In observance of the holiday, Anne Arundel County government offices will be closed, along with all Anne Arundel County Public Schools and central offices and libraries.
Also, Annapolis Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule. You can find bus routes and schedules online.

Trash and recycling collection in the county will be delayed a day. If Monday is the normal collection day, service will occur on Tuesday. If Tuesday is the normal collection day, service will take place on Wednesday. The county landfill and recycling centers will be closed Monday.
For those who will be in Annapolis, the Annapolis Transit will operate on a Sunday service schedule.

To celebrate the holiday, Annapolis will hold its annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25, at 10 a.m. The parade follows the traditional route on West Street, goes around Church Circle, down Main Street, and ends at City Dock.
Immediately following the parade will be the annual wreath laying ceremony at Susan Campbell Park. This ceremony is open to the public.
