Man Assaulted At Crofton Home: Police

CROFTON, MD — On Dec. 28 at 10:54 p.m., Anne Arundel County Western District officers responded to the 1700 block of Truro Road in Crofton for a report of an assault and shots fired. When officers arrived, police found the people at a home having a gathering. According to a police report, three men age 18 or 19 showed up looking for one of the guests. The people informed the three men that he wasn't there. When one of the men at the home headed outside, a suspect pulled out a gun and struck him in the face, knocking him to the ground.

A woman went to the door and the suspect pointed a gun at her. Another suspect pulled out a gun and fired a round into the air. Then the three suspects took off on foot.
