Police Ask Crofton Residents To Lock Car Doors, Remove Belongings
A rash of thefts from vehicles and a stolen vehicle has prompted Anne Arundel County police officers to ask residents to take action.
CROFTON, MD — The Anne Arundel County Police Department asks the community to lock the doors to their vehicles and place valuables out of site after officers responded to multiple reports of thefts from vehicles and tampering with vehicles in Crofton. Vehicles were tampered with in late November along Freemont Court, Wilkshire Drive, Fillmore Court, Angus Court, Carry Place, Walleye Drive and Farmington Court.
The vehicles' owners reported that personal belongings had been stolen from their vehicles parked in those areas. A Ford F-150 was stolen from Wilkshire Drive after it was left unlocked and with the vehicle’s keys inside. Western District detectives continue to investigate and ask that anyone with information call 410-222-6155.
