Robberies At Bank ATM, 7-Eleven In Crofton Reported: Police
A customer using a bank ATM and a clerk at a 7-Eleven store were robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night in Crofton, police.

CROFTON, MD — Two armed robberies were reported Wednesday night in Crofton, one as a woman used an outdoor ATM at a bank, and the other at a 7-Eleven store. Anne Arundel County have not said if they suspect a link between the two holdups on Nov. 14.
The first robbery was reported at 9:45 p.m. outside the Bank of America at 2001 Davidsonville Road. A fifty-four year old woman was seated in her vehicle in the drive-through ATM lane when she was approached by a man with a handgun who demanded money. The robber became startled and fled the area without obtaining any cash, police say.
No injuries were reported. Officers, including a K-9 unit and helicopter, searched the area for the robber, but he was not found.

Less than half an hour later, at 10:10 p.m., a robbery was reported at the 7-Eleven store at 2129 Defense Highway. A man with a handgun ordered the clerk to turn over cash, which the worker did, and the robber the store.
Police say he fled in an unknown vehicle driven by a man. A search failed to locate the vehicle or the robbers.
