Rockbridge Academy To Move Into New Building For Fall 2021

The school has secured the former Indian Creek lower school on Evergreen Road.

CROWNSVILLE, MD — Rockbridge Academy will be moving into a new building for the 2021-2022 school year. After 25 years, students will finally be on one campus for grades kindergarten through 12th. The school has secured the former Indian Creek lower school on Evergreen Road.

In 1996, Rockbridge Academy was ready to open its doors, but it didn't have a building. Just a few days before school was supposed to start, leaders found a space to rent at 911 Generals Highway. By 2004, Rockbridge Academy graduated its first students. Eventually, a second campus was established at a nearby church building, but leaders had always wanted to have all students on one campus.

Starting next fall, all students finally will be together and have access to a gym, athletic fields, art and music rooms, and more.
