Dundalk Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting At Least 4 Women, Impersonating Police Officer

Baltimore County Police have charged a Dundalk man with impersonating a police officer and sexually assaulting at least four women between August 2015 and February 2016.

The man has been identified as 30-year-old Brian Keith Cooper Jr., of the 2000 block of Bear Ridge Road in zip code 21222.

In each of the four reported incidents, the female victims said that they had offered themselves to the suspect for sexual acts in exchange for payment.

In three of the incidents, the victims reported that after the suspect agreed to pay her for a sex act, he then pulled out a police badge and threatened to arrest her unless she performed a sexual favor for him.

In one of the incidents, the victim reported that after the she agreed to a "date" with Cooper, he pulled out a knife and held it to her throat and threatened to hurt her unless she performed a sex act on him.

All four of the incidents took place in Dundalk.

According to police, Cooper was initially charged on March 11 in connection with the first known incident, which occurred on Aug. 1, 2015. After media coverage of the Aug. 1 crime, three additional victims came forward to police.

Cooper has been charged with several offenses including first- and second-degree sexual assaults, possessing a dangerous weapon with intent to injure, and impersonating a police officer. After an investigation, police said they have determined that Cooper has never been employed by any law enforcement agency.

These incidents remain under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Special Victims Team.
