Key Bridge is Under a Wind Warning: MDTA

The Maryland Transportation Authority reports three bridges are under wind warnings Thursday.

A wind warning is in effect for the Key Bridge Thursday afternoon, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

Officials say they issue wind warnings when there are winds of 30 to 39 mph.

During a wind warning, drivers of the following vehicles should use extra caution while crossing the bridge: house trailers, box trailers, motorcycles, vehicles with roof-mount racks containing cargo or any other vehicle that may be subject to high winds.
