The Hogans bought the estate from representatives of Josephine Lucente, state documents note.
Lucente lived on the property with her husband, Giovanni "John" Lucente. Legacy.com explained that John Lucente died in August 2016. Josephine Lucente followed last June, the website informed.
The Hogans still live in the governor's mansion, directly across from the statehouse in Downtown Annapolis. The family will relocate when the governor finishes his second term in 2023. Some supporters predict that he will run for president in 2024.
Larry Hogan makes $180,000 a year as governor. He is also the founder of Hogan Companies. The local real estate developer does not list Larry Hogan as a member of its leadership team.
