Statewide Arbor Day Poster Contest for 5th Graders Now Accepting Posters

Carroll County 5th graders have until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2020 to submit their entries for the Statewide Arbor Day Poster Contest. Local posters will be judged at the county level and the winner will be submitted to the Maryland Urban and Community Forestry Committee (MUCFC) to compete at the statewide level.

The Winners' teachers will be notified by March 20, 2020.

  • First Place - a tree planting of 15 trees for the winning school
  • Second Place - a tree planting of 10 trees for the winning school
  • Third Place - a tree planting of 5 trees for the winning school
